This beautiful, genuine antique Victorian Suffragette ring has been lovingly crafted with two bright green Peridots, a pair of lustrous Pearls and a single central Amethyst (approx. 0.20ct).
The 9ct Yellow Gold gallery is inlaid with delicate swirls along either side, creating a beautiful patterned exterior that flows into the array of precious stones.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which carried the message: Green for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes!
This is a wonderful example of the jewellery crafted to show support for the struggle for women’s rights; a beautiful piece of history to be treasured.
